I haven't posted much lately as I haven't been feeling the best. I am
middlin, middlin. It is that job of mine. My feet hurt from standing on
the cement floors all day, I have the bursitis from lifting those heavy
grocery bags, and I can't stand the sound of those scanners beeping all the
time. Those bags get so heavy with all the different things in them. Then
some of them have a lot of this and that and others are full of first one
thing and another. They offered to move me to being a cashier, but I don't
want people to think I am being pushy with them.

I am thinking of changing jobs but not sure what to do. I wish we had a
pickle factory in town as I think I would be perfect as a brime tester.
Kirby Vacuum Cleaner Company is currently hiring but that would mean I
would have to fork out money for a permit because of that blame Green River
Ordinance. I can't even be a glue dipper as the nearest furniture factory
is 60 miles from Eau Claire.

This past week I was called by the Plaza Hotel here in Eau Claire. There
will be a show there by the :"Jail Bailers" for a benefit for our county
Humane Association. They want me to come with the squad car and to be
"special security" for the evening event. But I am donating my services so
that kind of gig doesn't make any money.

So friends, if any of you have any suggestions as to what kind of job I
might be able to get if I decide to leave the grocery industry, I would
appreciate hearing about it. I am sure my good friend, Don, will have some
suggestions.
