I'm just all giddy thinking about my new Nice Dress Nellie sighting on TAGS! I checked the list at the Mayberry Historical Society at http://www.mayberry.info/history/index.php?title=Nellie and I don't see the episode listed, so I'm plowing some new ground here!
Nice Dress Nellie can be seen ever so briefly in the episode "Goober Makes History" (#196). When Goober is walking past the grocery store on the way to Floyd's Barbershop towards the end of the episode where Andy will tell him off for being a blabbermouth you can see Nice Dress Nellie walk behind Goober towards Crowley's vacant lot next to the grocery store. You have to slow the DVD down to see that it's her, but it sure is. She has that distinct Nice Dress Nellie hairdo that always gives her away. So if the Mayberry Historical Society can confirm and add this to her list of episodes, I'd sure 'ppreciate it.
