How can someone write but not read ? Gloria Bruce That is an interesting question. But what surprised me most was the words he wrote for someone who can't read. That said, I once worked with a guy who had to write down certain things that he did on the job, but he could not read a newspaper or any written orders given him. It could be and I never asked, but it could be that he simply learned specific words he needed to know for the job and never went any further with his reading or writing skills
