Last night I watched a movie from the fifties called "Please Murder Me,"
starring Raymond Burr and Angela Landsbury. I had never seen it before (and
it's pretty good, by the way). Two Mayberry alumni were in it. John Dehner
(Col. Harvey) was a prosecuting attorney. He was very recognizable. Not so
recognizable (though I did recognize him!) was Denver Pyle. He was all cleaned
up and had no mustache. His voice was totally different from Briscoe
Darling's! It was almost weird to hear him talk like such a well-educated
person. That's obviously the actor of the man! Thelma Lou(Janet)
