As far as Andy not knowing Miss Crump's first name, in the episode that
introduced Miss Crump, "Andy Discovers America", at the end of the show Andy
walks Miss Crump home at the end of the show. When they arrive at Miss
Crump's house, Andy says "I'm kinda glad this whole thing happened, it gave us
a chance to get acquainted". In my younger days before I met Martha, I
walked some girls home from different places, mostly to get acquainted with
them. In the part of the country where I was raised, before any walking or
talking was done you had to tell her parents your name, your parents name, and
where you lived. But, one of the very first things I did, assuming I did
not already know, was to ask the girl what her name was. Kinda tough to talk
about anything else if you do not know the name of the person to whom you are
