Like Barney, I also hate it when people get obtuse. But while I was reading
all the answers to balls mentioned on TAGS, something seemed out of place.
Specifically, I found myself thinking that strictly speaking, a football is
not a ball. I looked it up online, and a football is described as an
ellipsoid and an oblate spheroid. In my mind, a ball is a sphere, something
that you can roll across the floor to another person. I know this is
nitpicking, but that's just me.

that a tomato is not a vegetable, but a fruit.
