In the very first episode Malcolm Merriweather appeared, Andy was giving him
directions on how to get to Route 43. Part of his directions were "go down
here to the stop light".Anyone ever see a stop light in Mayberry?On a different
subject, last night on Gunsmoke on the Western Channel, Woodrow Chambliss was
playing the part of Matt's deputy after Chester was injuried. That's right
ladies and gentlemen, there was Orville Hendricks working right along side of
Matt Dillon. But he did not hop on a stiff leg and yell "Mr. Dillon, Mr.
