A story in our local news lately has been the accidental discharge of a Deputy Sheriff at a crime scene. The gun was holstered while the deputy was writing something down and the gun went off. The bullet was found lodged in his wallet. His quote was "The gun was in its 3-point safety holster. You can pull and pull on those things and are still not able to get to the weapon." The only thing missing here is that the deputy's name is not Barney. The incident is under investigation and the gun has been sent to the boys at the lab to check it out. I bet it needs new screws.
