What a great idea! I would sure like to go to such a place! The great thing about being able to go back in time and visit the Forty Acres lot is that we could have walked the actual streets where Andy, Barney, and the other walked and seen the actual buildings that they touched and where they sat and stood. But, as has already been discussed, the buildings were mostly fronts, so it's not like we could have gone inside and seen anything. Such a project as you mentioned would not be the "real thing," but you could have complete buildings with reproduced interiors and people playing parts to make it seem like the real thing.
