While watching the episode "Goober goes to the Auto Show" I heard Andy ask Goober if his friend/rival at the auto show was "an old Army buddy"- then I seemed to recall in the "Fun Girls" that Gomer told Andy that Goober learned to say "Yo!" from when he was in the National Guard.
