While I don't post often I look forward to reading the digest everyday and wanted to share my experience with you last week. I have been to Mt. Airy several times but have never made it to the Snappy Lunch but I finally got to eat a pork chop sandwich and boy was it good! Mt. Airy is about as close as you can get to Mayberry so I just love going there. I got a few souvenirs to add to my collection of Andy Griffith related items as well. Thank you all again for letting me be part of this group, there really are few things as good and kind as the Andy Griffith Show and I appreciate the fact that everyone here works hard to keep the same spirit alive in this group. P.S. If you Google Mt. Airy you will find that there is a live feed camera set up on one of the buildings in downtown Mt. Airy and if you can't make it to Mayberry Days you can watch the parade that way!
