I just watched "Opie's Three Wishes" and I saw how Opie "squandered" his wishes on rather frivolous things just for himself. However, that is the nature of being a child. It made me reflect on a "What If?" What if, in everyone's lifetime, each person were granted one wish that could be used within his/her lifetime? I wonder how long a person would keep that wish in their back pocket to be used for something really important. I would think that whenever someone would be ready to use their wish, they would always wonder if they should keep it a while longer just in case something more important would come along. Opie sure used his in a hurry, didn't he? And come to think of it, so did Barney. Of all the things that Barney could have wished for, he wished for a fingerprint set. Any thoughts?
