John Tanner, if you are waiting to see a winter scene in Mayberry, you will be
waiting a long, long, time. Even in the Christmas show, the only thing they
did different was to put on coats. No snow, no icicles, no visible breath.
Since every single scene of TAGS was filmed in Southern California, it would
have been a lot of trouble to dress the set with snow. And I suppose the
producers of TAGS really felt there was no great need for a show with cold
weather. I would have loved to have seen a few shows set in the wintertime,
but all of us TAGS fans will just have to be satisfied with what we have.
