A few stabs at answering Paul's animal noises quiz.
Gomer - Hoot Owl.
Goober - Owl, "The Darling Fortune"
Otis - Cat. Aunt Bee pours water on him from her bedroom window.
Andy - Dog. When he and Aunt Bee are sitting on the porch.
Andy - Web-footed red-crested lake loon, "Back to Nature"
Andy - Hawk, using a blade of grass.
Barney - Bird noises, "Opie the Birdman"
Barney - Rooster, "Cock-a-doodle-doo" when talking to Juanita
Opie - Wildcat growl, "The Keeper of the Flame"
Barney - Bird. "Can you tell a bird to go chirp, chirp?"
Opie - Cluck, Cluck hen noises in "Aunt Bee the Crusader". Not sure if this one
qualifies.
Anybody know what kind of noise a possum makes? I've got one hemmed up under a
rock and I'd like to try to call him out. Guess I'll just have to jab at him
with a pointed stick.
