In this area of Oklahoma, MeTV shows Mayberry RFD on the weekdays instead of TAGS. I suppose that is because one of the local stations shows TAGS daily in the morning. Any who, I have gotten hooked on watching Mayberry RFD. Believe it or not I have not seen these shows in over 40 years, since they were shown the first time. It is a lot of fun to watch them.But to get to my point, the other night I was watching the episode where Alice Ghostly was introduced at Aunt Bee's replacement, and Elmo was shown as a member of the committee that was planning some sort of patriotic celebration.That got me to thinking, how many of the TAGS characters can you name that made the move over to MRFD? Let's not count cameo appearances like Andy and Helen getting married, but I am talking about the people who were shown as still living in Mayberry after Andy left. I have a pretty long list.
