I was watching some episodes of Lassie on YouTube and there were several episodes which used the Mayberry set. One had a great shot of the Courthouse sans the Sheriff and Justice of the Peace signs on the front door. Since these episodes were all filmed while TAGS was still filming I imagine there was some shuffling going on to remove any Mayberry references from the set and then put them back.
