Today is my birthday, so I am celebrating by watching my sump pump cut of every ten minutes to drain some of this water out of my crawl space! Had 2" so far and it is still coming, I think the whole eastern US is being hit by it.... Really, though, 11:45PM Christmas eve I was born. Old Dr. Byrd came to the house and delivered me. He took one long look at me when I was born and then threw up. Then he slapped my daddy, sent my mama to the hospital, went outside and emptied both barrels of his trusty old 12 gauge at Santy Claus and he ain't been back to see me since! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it! And I was a preemie....barely made it. Only weighed 10 lbs. 11 oz. That part is totally true! Aside from that.....Merry Christmas to all the Mayberry Community, far and wide! May your day be blessed with love and caring, and please....have patience on this wonderful day! Kids will be kids, and so will most of the grownups!! Invite someone in to eat who has no one else. We have 2 coming to eat with us like that... I gone....great day to you!
