Everyone that guessed about the people who first appeared on TAGS going on to
other 60's comedy shows got most of the answers. The ones you forgot were
mostly obscure ones, like:

1. George Stevens had to leave Mayberry, so he went to live with the Addams
Family as Uncle Fester.

2. Farley gave up his job at the Mayberry Gazzette to tend the Sam Drucker
store on Green Acres.

3. The director of Foster's Furniture Polish commercials (and the guy who
sold Emmett his fur) was drafted and assigned to the same Marine Unit as Gomer
Pyle under the name Duke Slater.

4. I cannot believe everyone did not notice that Henry Wheeler moved to
Petticoat Junction and became Uncle Joe.

5. And of course Roby Miller's little boy Jerry left Mayberry to ride around
in "My Mother The Car".

6. In a show that came on the same network, same night, just after TAGS in
1964, Ellie Walker played the daughter on a really obscure show called "Many
Happy Returns".

7. On the show "Hazel", Lee Drake played the mother who employed Hazel.

8. One of the sailors on "McHale's Navy" was Gavin McLeoud, the man who
robbed the Mayberry Bank and also portrayed Andy in the Hollywood movie
"Sheriff Without A Gun".

9. On the teenybopper show "The Patty Duke Show", Sam Becker was Patty
Duke's father.

10. Finally, this is a really obscure show. It was a western/comedy show
that was really good, but only lasted for one season because the star, Ann
Sheridan, died. In "Pistols and Petticoats", Mrs. Pendleton played the
Grandmother.

I am sure there are one or two that I have missed. Remember the rule. Had
to be a 60's Comedy Show, starring or co-starring a TAGS alumni.
