I must say that I followed your same logic. Andy and Barny, of course, then I realized I couldn't leave out Aunt Bea. I was left with no other choice but to choose Opie. . . the four main characters. In hindsight, I think the four(five or even six maybe) most influential characters from the series' run might end up looking quite a bit different.
