Born in 1960 I grew up inside little city in the big city of Houston,TX called Bellaire - what they call "inside the loop", but I didn't think it was so big until I left for college in College Station/Bryan where I met my wife and gained a son. He(Greg) is in his 30s and we have 3 beautiful grand daughters ages 5,7, and 9. Boy oh boy are they something. I watched TAGS show when I was a kid and well, just never stopped. Its a show like no other and always gets a smile and laugh to my face - especially how bad (and downright depressing) the shows are today. Many times TAGS is one show I can guarantee will be great. I have to admit I am partial to the black and white episodes of the first 5 years...I said I did not have much to say so, " that's where you'll have to call me a liar"..but I'll be there so dont worry. I not much of a joiner of clubs or such but its such a nice thing that there are others that still see the quality and shear glorious common sense nature and love of the show. I use those many lessons from the show in my life because honestly ..I can't say them as good as TAGS says them. I just told our 9 year the other day to go out there and "Be somebody!" I just couldn't say it better than Andy. There's just not any shows as good for learning and laughs like TAGS....and its tough for a guy to get "touched" by any show ;) The show is timeless and the lessons and common sense you see you don't see anywhere today. It kinda of makes you wonder why (I feel) this is why we have so many kids that don't learn the lessons that they should be taught today. Well, my wife and I are trying our best to try to teach many of those common sense and Biblical foundations we learned...and like I said sometimes Andy and the cast say it just right and we find ourselves saying the near same words as they do. I said I have that car out of the courthouse right away but Floyd wanted to see again all put together again so that's why youll just have to call me a liar again.
