I read in this week's Mayberry Gazette something that Ken Anderson hasn't mentioned, but knowing how shy and reserved Ken is, I expect he was just trying to avoid a big moulage from the publicity. Anyway, remember Ken was at the Manure Spreaders Convention a while ago. According to Helmut Hotflash, great-grandson of Hugo Hotflash, our last WWI veteran (on the wrong side), Ken was part of the 2015 Manure Spreaders Hall of Fame class. Quoted from Helmut's induction speech "If there is anyone deserving of this honor, it is our own Ken Anderson. I know of no one who can spread it like Ken."
