Hello everyone, Cast members still alive that made at least one appearance and got screen credit at the end of the episode number approximately 113. Years ago I pulled all these names from Allen Newsome's old Mayberry web page and put them in a spread sheet. There are 570 names and I will assume none were missed. There are quite a few none credited actors that are known but I believe they are all long dead. So we will stick with the 570. My 113 number comes from a quick go over of the list and I assumed that any of the child actors roughly Ron Howard age that I could not track down are still alive. I could be off a few plus or minus but I think I'm pretty close and confident that there are at least 100 still with us but in our Mayberry hearts they all are still very much alive and always will be.
