Star Trek used the Forty Acres backlot for 5 episodes, "Miri,"
"Errand of Mercy," "Return of the Archons" and "The City on the Edge
of Forever." They also used the backlot's Arab Village for a scene in
the show's pilot.

There were some curious miscues, like Kirk and Edith Keeler (Joan
Collins) walking by "Floyd's Barber Shop". Maybe the art director
figured no one would notice, or maybe the budget did not support
extensive set rearrangement.
