Helen wrote a children's book in addition to her teaching job.
Not sure if these would be considered second jobs, but people who had
other jobs were:
Aunt Bee - worked for the counterfeiters and also had a cooking show
Emmett - worked as an insurance salesman
Goober _ worked at Weaver's Store and also became an insurance salesman
Barney - sold vacuum cleaners
Opie - sold salve; worked at the drug store; fed the milkman's horse;
sold his newspaper and was in a band
Andy - umpired Opie's baseball game
