Been to Mayberry, VA. Browsed the store, which is an old Gulf gas station
building. Had some pumpkin butter made fresh next door and browsed the antique
store (many years ago, it's not there anymore). Tiny little area off the Blue
Ridge Parkway. It is also where Andy Griffith's mother grew up, I just happen
to have the idea that he came up with the idea for the name of the town for the
show.
