I had a great turnout for my Mayberry Presentation for an Aging Seminar on Thursday. Got another booking that day for another presentation. I was also called by our neighboring city of Chippewa Falls asking if I would be the first unit in their big parade in August. We will have the Grand Marshall in our car who is the Police Chief. I told them that as long as the President always has secret service people walking along with car in parades I felt the Chief of Police was entitled to have The Mayberry Guru walk along for protection complete with one bullet in my pocket. My convertible will be following the squad car with representatives of the Burger King Restaurants because I do so many of their shows.
This weekend we found out that one of the soldiers murdered in Mississsippi is from my wife's small home town of Grantsburg, Wi. Also on the news tonight a teacher from the High School I attended was just sentenced to jail for having assaulted two students.
