I was just thinking about him the other day. I remember him as the CPA who belonged to some UFO organization that had their last meeting on Mars in "Ghost".

He also appeared in an episode of USMC, "Third Finger, Left Loaf." A longtime friend of Don Knotts, Al had supporting roles in Don's THE INCREDIBLE MR. LIMPET (1964), THE GHOST AND MR. CHICKEN (1966) and THE RELUCTANT ASTRONAUT (1967); plus, Andy Griffith's ANGEL IN MY POCKET (1969).
