Thanks for putting a name to "Otis." I will remember him sitting in front  
of his store hanging over his checker board in between posing for photos 
with  tourists. We went in the store and I found a good collection of Louis 
L'Amour  books, and a wonderful drawing someone had made of Mt. Airy's own 
Floyd, Russell  Hiatt, cutting the hair of Floyd Lawson....good size, in a 
frame 
of sorts, she  was asking $5 and with the 25% going out of business 
discount, it was $4!! How  it had stayed there until we got to it, I don't 
know! 
But it has a home now, and  in the future it will probably wind up on public 
view where it should be!! I'll  let you know when that happens!!
