Saw a TAGS alumni last night. But it was an easy spot, I was watching
Mayberry RFD on MeTV. I appreciate MeTV broadcasting Mayberry RFD, because
there is no where else to see it. Our local station broadcasts TAGS.
But back to where I was. In the Mayberry RFD show about their sister city
from Mexico, at the beginning there was old Wally (Norman Leavett) as a USPS
mailman delivering the mail. I guess after Wally sold the gas station to
Goober he went into civil service. You all remember what store Barney put in
a civil service job. Barney said Halycyon Winslow's father saw his
picture in the paper and thought "civil service job".
