In watching an old movie today, I spotted a familiar Mayberry name:
Earle Hagen was the director of orchestration for the Mitzi Gaynor film
from 1952 named Bloodhounds of Broadway. Altho rather unsavory in
depicting gamblers, etc. it had some nice music and backstory of faith
and goodness. I also spotted the original Bobby Fleet in an early
nightclub scene but he had no lines; he also had dark hair. Who knew?
