The first time he played director Jim Martin in the episode The Foster Lady then about two years later he played "Bernie the furrier" in Emmett's Anniversary. Ronnie is a true friend to Mayberry fans everywhere and has been at many Mayberry events to share the love with the fans. This interview took place at the 1996 Mayberry Squad Car Rendezvous in Bradford, OH and was broadcast live by “Good Morning Mayberry” on Cincinnati’s WMOH 1450AM radio. The show was on every Saturday morning from 10am to noon back in the 1990’s. Host Mark “Golden” Richards and Dennis Hasty do an amazing job.
