Happened to stumble across a 1970 movie, Wanda, while channel-surfing last light. The movie is about a petty thief, Norman Dennis, played by Michael Higgins, who runs into the title character, Wanda Goronski (Barbara Loden), who has abandoned her family in a Pennsylvania coal-mining town. I recognized the voice as that of THE Michael Higgins who appeared as U.S. diplomat Mr. Clifford in The Andy Griffith Show episode, Barney Holds a Summit.
