Our city library is having a Christmas program for the kids today. They are having a Polar Express Day with games, snacks, and prizes. They will be showing the movie "The Polar Express". I will be helping out by taking my nice Polar Express Train and setting it up with my Mayberry Christmas Village set up. I will be running the train for the kids during the event. What a great way to introduce some youngsters to Mayberry while enjoying my favorite Christmas movie. All my Mayberry people figurines will be there watching the train pass through town. To add to the festivities we are now in the midst of a wonderful snowfall and we are expected to receive between 6-9 inches. I just hope it doesn't cause our event to be postponed or canceled.
