I have just begun reading an English mystery called *Brat Farrar* by Josephine Tey.
The very first two words of the book are "Aunt Bee". It is about Aunt Bee who travels to the English midlands to care for her nephew, three sisters, and twin brothers. Maybe it will turn out to be an English Mayberry story. Who knows, maybe Malcolm will even show up.
