Hello from Nashville.

I hope everyone that was caught in this snow is safe. Friday morning driving
home I saw the biggest snowflakes that I have ever seen.
Not just big snowflakes, but wet. All that wet snow turned to ice, I would
rather have snow than ice. I don't care where you are from YOU can't drive on
ice.
I've had former co-workers who are from the north say "I can drive on
anything". They just don't understand ice and the effects it has on brakes
(brakes are useless on ice).

No snow in Mayberry between 1960-1968, not sure about the weather conditions
before or after those years.
In the Christmas episode we are given to believe that it was cold, from
everyone wearing heavy coats, scarves and hats.
We do see water on the street when Ben Weaver is taking the court house bench.
I think one of the funniest scenes on that episode is when Opie took off his
hat and that red-hair stands-up with all that static.
Also Opie is also trying to take off his gloves by using the method of pulling
them with his teeth.

I have the "Andy and Don" book and no I haven't read it yet. Knew it was
written by Don's brother-in-law.

Can't wait to watch some TAGS this coming week.

Floyd: "I'm going to Nashville."
Margaret: I already live in Nashville.

p.s. Anyone who is still dealing with snow, "Let's be careful out there."
