My husband and I recently got smart phones and finally got rid of our land line
phone. On the advice of a fellow Mayberry fan on Facebook, I found an app for
free ringtones that has the TAGS theme song, and I set that for my incoming
calls. However, this particular app didn't really have anything else
TAGS-related that I could use for notifications. Then I thought about Emmett's
(Ron Blankenship) WAV files. I downloaded a bunch of these a long time ago, so
they were already on my computer. I found that I can transfer any of these WAV
files to my phone and use them for notification sounds. So now every time I
get an e-mail, Floyd announces, "Everything's okay in Mayberry!" Is that cool
or what?
So I first want to thank Ron for all his hard work in making these available
and then want to encourage others to make use of them this way if they are
looking for little snippets from TAGS to use on their phones. If you're not
