I’m always watching the web for information on The Andy Griffith Show and I ran across this great story from the The Daily Journal from the Kankakee Valley, IL. I wrote to them for permission to use their article in the podcast and they were nice enough to let me use it. The story is called “Andy Griffith’s hometown abounds with touches of Mayberry.” It gives a fun look into the town of Mt. Airy, NC and some insight into Andy Griffith’s life. It’s also a good lead in to the next Mayberry Meet-up to be held 8-9 July 2016 in Mt. Airy! I hope you’ll make plans to be with us and enjoy so great Mayberry related fun.
