Thanks Millie,

All of the Fifes have the Fife eyes. :-)

Chamblis almost might've said ("would you like an egg timer, with that?") as he
loaded the bags into the limo/car.
I think the Kettle films were from the late 40s to mid 50s, or so. This was
the 2nd Kettle film (3rd, if you count "The Egg and I").

Oh, yes, I forgot about the guy who played Mr. Masters. Didn't he play the
makeover specialist (one of several) who were giving Ma a makeover?

I kinda wish Uncle Ollie had had a larger (no pun intended) role in the movie.
I always liked his acting.

And, you've gotta love Pa Kettle's square dance calling - excellent!

You know, the Kettle films had quite a few familiar faces... the other night I
watched "The Kettles Back On The Farm," which guest stars Ray Collins (Lt Tragg
on Perry Mason) as the good-natured Jonathan Parker, who also happens to be
quite knowledgeable about "you rainy yum" (uranium).

Clyde (Barn)
