I was watching the color episode where Opie was trying to get a job to pay for his bike repairs. Andy came into the house and was talking about his day and how bad it was. He mentioned that Otis had gotten a snoot full and drove his car into a ditch or something. I thought that Otis had said on an earlier episode that he never drove drunk.
