I had the most wonderful experience with the producer of Wisconsin Public Television's "Wisconsin Life". The producer and his photographer spent about three hours at our house talking with me and filming all kinds of interesting things. Then we went to the car show and I had to wear a live mike the entire time as they did a lot of filming for almost three hours. They are going to edit this all down to a 4-6 minute segment that will air sometime this fall. The money that was raised at the car show will be donated to our city Police Department Special Unit.
The thing that made it so enjoyable was that these two young men were genuinely interested in what I was doing. They weren't just doing a job. They really enjoyed learning about my passion for Mayberry. They both were very familiar with TAGS and both watch the show quite a bit. They said it was going to make an excellent story and they both wished it would be longer. Will be spending about a week deciding what to include and what to exclude.
