I had some more great news yesterday. Women's Day Magazine has named me one of the "Shining Stars" for my Mayberry Guru work I do for raising money for my small hometown library. It will be in their September issue which comes out in August.
Lots going on this weekend. Starts out tonight, Friday, as we have been invited to bring the squad car to an American Cancer Relay for Life event. Saturday we are doing a car show and then a big parade in a neighboring town. Sunday I have been asked to attend a car show at Spooner, Wisconsin, about fifty miles from here. I will be a special judge and I can choose one car I like the best and then present it with the "Barney Fife Trophy".
