Happened to see Orville Hendricks (Woody Chambliss), The Mount Pilot Butter and Egg Man, on Gunsmoke today. He was a grizzly old fur trader who lived out on the plains in an old cabin. He had been paid by some questionable lawmen to allow them to use his cabin as a place to try and trap a wanted man. In this episode old Orville seemed to be a few bricks shy of a full load, but he seemed pretty harmless and mostly just a little lonely living by himself.
