My wife is from a family of 17 children. She is second to the youngest and her dad was 65 when she was born and along came another three years later. It had nothing to do with the water. It was all because my wife's mother was hard of hearing. Every night when her mom and dad went to bed her dad would say, "Dear do you want to go to sleep or what"? And her mom would say, "WHAT"?
