Watching My Fair Ernest T. and caught something for the first time. I don't recal anyone actually introducing Ernest T. to Romeena and he doesn't tell her his name when they're dancing. Andy just pointed to her and told him to go ask her to dance. But when they are on the porch and he's bragging about his strength, he says he could heft her real easy and she says "Oh, Mr. Gossage....." How did she learn his name? I mean she knew his LAST name. Most people at a social event would only give out their first name. Curious, curious.....I guess I'll have to get out my DVDs to find out if MeTV cut any part of this episode, where the two exchange names.
I can't help but chuckle at the ending when Andy says "You know if you wrote this into a play, no one would believe it.".....Two stories, two Bernards.
