Mayberry Comes to Mechanicsburg is coming up Saturday April 15 at 6pm at Mechanicsburg (Ohio) High School, 60 High St. It will be a night to honor law enforcement and other first responders by many in the community including boy scouts and American Legion. The night will feature Karen Knotts, daughter of Don Knotts presenting her program "A Deputies Daughter" as well as David Browning "The Mayberry Deputy". Also the Muleskinner Band will fill in for the Darlings singing songs that were on the show. There will be a raffle of Mayberry items and more fun. The event will benefit forming a K-9 unit for the Mechanicsburg Police Dept. that will do a presentation that night also. Admission is a donation of $10 for adults and $5 for children and students. Any law enforcement member who comes in uniform will be admitted free. Mechanicsburg is located an hour or less from both Columbus and Dayton.
