Remember the lady who made the cape for Miss Mayberry and ended up 
wearing it? I can't recall her name but the actress appeared in a simply 
delightful film I had recorded from TCM recently. It was titled The Next 
Voice You Hear, starring Nancy Reagan and James Whitmore. The premise 
was that God Himself spoke on the radio to revitalize the whole world 
and it was most heartwarming. Our Mayberry alumnus was as lovely and 
charming as ever and it was wonderful to see her. The film came out in 1950.
