Maybe the reason she didn't or couldn't take the food home has to do with
health regulations. They can be very picky about that. They don't want to
spread anything that could be hazardous to one's health. My husband and I
attend the senior lunch program at our park district and they're not allowed to
let people take home any food in containers that come from home. They put the
food on plates and cover them with tin foil.
