Thanks for that post Elizabeth! NW Georgia is not too far from me in E TN! Speaking of remembering Mayberry, my wife and I travelled to Ohio to visit my daughter at her college over the weekend. We stayed in a small town called Yellow Springs. Just outside of Yellow Springs on Rt. 68 is a Marathon gas station that had a sign that read, “Mayberry’s” above the front door. We didn’t stop in, but really liked seeing that sign. It’s a “sign” that Mayberry is appreciated in southern Ohio.
