In the scene from "The Lodge" it does sound like Howard is saying "Morning, Howard," (after he's already said "Morning, Floyd"), but upon closer listening you can tell he's saying "Floyd, how are you?" The subtitles also show this. If you have Netflix, or the DVDs, you can play it over and over and hear both. One of those "I hear this or that" things way before it became a thing on social media!
