Sam, I have a couple of ideas. At one time, in about three or four episodes, the squad car had DC-269 as a license plate. Also, when I was living in NC, a friend had a squad car replica with AUNT BEE as the license plate.
Just a couple of thoughts. You'll come up with something very Mayberryish, I'm sure.
